Key responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable (AR/AP), general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Help manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Assist with special projects and financial analysis as required.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
